So yes, I think these men have no use for other humans - they wouldn't be so obsessed with robots if they did - and they want to eliminate creative work. But the other half of "why can't they make labor easier" is they don't do a lot of that labor. They invented the roomba and called it a day.

In theory the kitchen should be the easiest space on the planet to clean and it's not because it's designed by men who don't use kitchens. That's it.

Don't get me started on how if I'm not careful my fish slips into a corner of my freezer that requires me to remove the freezer basket to reach

And I like to focus on kitchen stuff because it makes no sense that I have to watch a youtub video to learn how to take apart my dishwasher to clean it and that entire chunks of it havenot been designed to be clean.

I think that's part of it but the other part is it's men -and in this case especially rich men - and they already don't do those tasks, so they don't see them. This is why we're getting Samsung TV's with ads and not fridges that remind us to eat the lettuce before it spoils
