The first witch holds her broom parallel to her body, gently lifting off in her pink and periwinkle swim attire, her matching sandals and hat are stark against the billowing clouds in the sky. The second witch has a surfboard (a rather small one) tucker under her right arm. She appears to have landed on her broom, ready to zoom down to the water. A vivid Blue horizontal landscape, for Sci-fi TTRPG "Stations and Starships" by Frigid Pigeon Inc. The central focus of the piece is a tall wedge'shaped ship half in the water and half above. On its large dorsal wing are two smaller "fin" wings to which sails are attached - one in full sheet to the wind. Around this ship in the distance are other ships, similarly designed all with different configurations of wings and fins and flying flags of all colors. Further back a sort of docking station above the roiling ocean below, from which a distant ship is leaving. In the sky far above another planet and its moon can be seen through partial cloud cover. Below the waves of the planetary ocean is teeming with all manner of life -- most notably large deep blue/purple whale like creatures that swim along side the starships floating in the water. There are also schools of fish and smatterings of jelly-fish-like creatures stretching into the far distance of the sea. The jungle mountains stretch off into the distance, the foliage twisting in an alien-manner and pointing toward the huge ring vehicles tracing a path through this jungle valley. The rings themselves do not appear to be disturbing the local fauna apart from the large white-insect/bird creatures in the far distance. In the small patch of sky visible at the top left we see the large structure that houses the ring-shaped cruise vehicles while not in use.

Gavin Newsom spent the last 7 years doing the bidding of big tech. You can blame him for many of the harms we're now suffering. We have spent the last 7 years trying to keep our unhoused neighbors alive despite Newsom's best efforts to make more people homeless while he and his friends get richer.

Wooden placard that reads WISCONSIN HISTORICAL SOCIETY THE BLACK NITE UPRISING Eight years before New York's Stonewall Riots. the Black Nite Uprising united a community, awakened local activism, and scored an early victory for the emerging LGBTQ rights movement in the United States. On August 5, 1961, four servicemen went on a homophobic dare to the Black Nite (400 N. Plankinton Ave.) a well-known LGBTQ tavern. After losing a fight with Josie Carter (1941-2014) a black woman of trans experience, the men vowed to return and "clean up" the bar. "We do not run from a fight, Josie replied. "we do not run from anything." Josie's courage was a call to action. When the servicemen returned later that night, they faced over 70 customers who heroically defended their safe space from invasion. In 2021, the Wisconsin LGBTQ History Project obtained official civic commemoration to ensure the Uprising will never be forgotten.
