America, you've spoken loud and clear: you do not like being stabbed in the dick with an ice pick. But what if stabbing yourself in the dick with an ice pick is the only way to fight, idk, climate change or whatever?

the December 15th deadline on healthcare dot gov was about to hit and Phil plugged in "10 children" and his eyes bugged out
Although Philip Rivers made a return to pursue individual achievements, he also did something very useful for his big family in the process:

He extended his NFL-sponsored health insurance.

he is a fully formed oaf, consuming eggs by the dozen in one of the greatest villain songs ever written, and that is all we need of him

never ever ever want to read an article about trans people written by a cis journalist ever again thanks. maybe fucking source and pay trans writers? it's like trying to read a football article by someone who's only ever had the concept of balls explained to them by three small dogs in a trenchcoat.

No, Anthropic and OpenAI are not like Uber - they burn way more money and have no path to profitability, nor is AI "like Amazon Web Services," which cost less than $70bn over 9 years and had a proven worth and path to profitability almost immediately.

Silicon Valley is famously supportive of early-career technologists through trying to eliminate their jobs with AI, so this sounds like wishful thinking too
I think it's telling that they only want "early-career technologists".

I read that as saying, "We only want people you if you are young, inexperienced, and desperate for work; the kind of person who won't/can't push back when we tell you to do things that are unethical or illegal."
