It was all just fear pushing by bad faith groups and that trans women pose no threat to cisgender women.

This is why prevention should always pre-empt treatment.

No need to treat what doesn't occur and people don't have to suffer while we search for solutions that may not exist!

This woman has shown more courage than the nominal leaders of the Democratic Party.
Martinez: "[I] sat in federal court and watched from 20 feet away as the border patrol agent who attempted to kill me testified at a hearing. Agent Charles Exum—Charles Exum, my attempted executioner was Charles Exum—I hope the government does not consider my use of his name here to be...doxxing."

CBP shot this woman and then defamed her using every means at their disposal. In a just world they would have to turn their whole yearly budget over to her for punitive damages
Martinez is recounting her harrowing experience: after being shot by CBP agents, she drove a mile to the safety of an auto shop where she called 911, got treatment at a hospital for 7 bullet wounds, then was immediately taken into custody by federal agents.

This is so awful. And dangerous.
Large share of older US adults haven’t had a recent flu or COVID vaccine, poll finds

Of adults ages 50 and older, 42% remain unvaccinated.

For years I have been trying to explain this...The Government will use your information to scare and shame you into compliance

This is why PRIVACY should be defended

When people say, "I have nothing to hide if I have done nothing wrong," that is dangerous nonsense
Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

Hello. Do you know that African Asylum seekers - two of whom are people I know, one who escaped enslavement and the other saw her father killed in front of her - are being told in court that they will be sent to Uganda for processing?

And now their attorneys have to fight that?

It’s a congressional money laundering grift 👇🏾

• Palantir receives hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded government contracts to provide DHS & ICE with surveillance tech.

• Palantir then bribes Congress with OUR tax dollars to ensure favorable legislation of renewed contracts continue.

74% of Democrats support abolishing ICE, with 53% *strongly* supporting it, according to YouGov polling from last month.

Weak calls for "reform" are coming from *elected* Democrats like Chuck, not the average Democratic voter.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

Apparently there was a city meeting in Hutchins, Texas, tonight. Hutchins is the location of DHS's newly announced 10,000-person concentration camp. What I've been told is that city officials were unanimously and adamantly opposed to it.

Unfortunately, I'm seeing this nowhere online.

This is one of the most important cases that galvanized Black people in the late 40s through the 1950s. Almost every major Black leader had a comment about it. It is also one of the most successful defense committees that was organized in the 20th century. Almost no one knows about it today.
On this day in 1948, an all-white jury sentenced a Black woman and two of her teenage sons to death for killing an armed white man in self-defense.
