Excellent news, let’s get the rest of the vultures off the high streets.

Almost every newspaper and broadcaster in Britain is now waging a racist 24/7 campaign of hatred against migrants on behalf of the ultra rich. In response to this, one small thing you can do is donate to the NGOs supporting refugees.

Just a hard working little journalist up against a deadline and desperate to protect his dealer. Sorry, sources.

Tommy Robinson told police ‘not a chance bruv’ when asked for mobile pin. He had more than £13,000 and 1,900 euros in cash with him, told officers he was driving his silver Bentley to Benidorm for a couple of days when he was stopped. As you do!

He is far from alone.
Do you know how many people I know, journalists, thinktankers, civil servants, politicians, who always excel at explaining to you why what is currently happening was always bound to happen, from which they conclude that it should happen?

It should be obvious to everyone that if Bridget Phillipson wins the deputy leadership contest it will be used as a platform to double down on the anti-trans crusade being waged by the Labour Party, and she's hiding that because she knows it's unpopular with their shrinking membership
Bridget Philipson is trying to get grab even more power, but her ‘gender critical’ transphobic supporters and the trans-hostile media are lobbying HARD to get anti-trans legislation in place ASAP, as they can’t bear to wait a moment longer to exclude trans people! 😖

He’ll probably slam that misogyny too, once he’s blamed it on immigrants.
It’s still shaping “increasingly desperate racist appeasing and bigot pleasing” policy.

Twitter used to be good, and then deliberate changes over time, ending in the Musk ownership (which just auto-correct to Muck!), ensured that it wasn’t.

So, it became time to leave.

It isn’t that much harder than admitting to yourself that a band or artist that you once loved is no good any more.
The platform formerly known as Twitter may be horrible, but it is still shaping policy. So were we all wrong to leave?
Was the left wrong to leave X for BlueSky?

Not sure who needs to hear this but your “physical” isn’t “annual” if you need it twice in six months.

There’s a reason academics universally rejected the initial push to canonize Charlie Kirk as a saint devoted to free speech.

We know all too well that’s the exact opposite of reality.
I know this case is all over - & it should be - but Turning Point USA has waged a harassment campaign against faculty for more than a decade. I know of at least a half dozen other faculty, personally, who have received death threats and several of those who felt so unsafe they too left their homes
Are we great yet?

Mark Bray, a Rutgers University professor and expert on anti-fascist groups, is fleeing to Spain with his family due to death threats that stem from a campaign by Turning Point USA and other conservative groups to get him fired, falsely labeling him as an antifa member.
Interesting that even the Guardian is accepting the new definition of “far left” as “anyone who isn’t into Nazis”.

Every time I think this stuff gets too obvious for the US media not to ring the alarm they prove me wrong, but god, it feels REALLY hard to ignore now.

Of course we know exactly what Jenrick means, not least because he just told us. 'Integration' to him means dispersal (of small numbers of black faces) among the majority white population 'so they can't congregate, talk foreign languages, drag an area down and generally threaten us'.

It's grim.

Time and again the UK Right is desperate to ape the US. Anyone in possession of a brain wouldn’t want politicised judges or indeed an ICE-style ‘removal force’. I doubt it’s a vote winner (although obviously some really bad things do win votes).
More in the breathless, breaking stop-the-presses, and not at all confected story, that judges, before they were judges, were involved in practising law. Take 5 seconds to appreciate just how hard into "swivel-eyed loon" Robert Jenrick is being allowed to lean:

Abysmal shit but again, this is just a much more crass and blunt version of the type of stuff you would’ve heard being expressed more obliquely five years ago, ten years ago. The move has been from I’m Not Racist But to Yes I Am Racist, And.
