This just reminds me of how unfortunate a lot of Star Allies' official translation is but also specially what a shame it is that Kirby's title is not usually preserved, because Zan hitting the full "Hoshi no Kaabi!!!" before the fight starts goes so fucking hard

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

The wildest interview story I've ever heard/confirmed from years ago. A guy brought his folio all printed out and showed it to the interviewer who then called in the art director. The AD sat down and paged through it, asked him questions, then basically said: you're full of it. This is all my work.
