Trump is giving another $12 billion of taxpayer money to bail out farmers again from his disastrous policies. Just like he had to bail them out in his first term from his disastrous policies. But they will continue to vote Republican, as long as they keep getting their welfare checks.

More than that, his crew threatened to open fire on the murderers. He rescued civilians, returned to base to refuel, flew back, and rescued more civilians. Then he denounced the crimes to his HQ.

For all this he received death-threats throughout his life.

I don't see Musk or Medvedev calling for the dissolution of the Commonwealth of Independent States or the end of Moscow's influence over post-Soviet republics in the name of sovereignty.
This is so perfect. No one have any doubts at this point about what Elon Musk really represents.

Trump's new National Security Doctrine makes one thing clear: Trump is an enemy of democracy, freedom and human rights. His foreign policy is based on the pursuit of profit and support for dictators. Putin, of course, is first among Trump's dictator friends.

Trump has spent years fuming that he didn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize. So a deeply compromised organization invents a “FIFA Peace Prize” just for him. It’s authoritarian ego-management 101: if reality won’t deliver a trophy, make one up. #holdfast #SteadyState
You can hear a CNN panelist off camera laughing as Trump gets the “2025 FIFA Peace Prize.”

Paul Krugman did an interview with Paul Kedrosky (MIT research fellow) on the economics of AI. This screen-cap passage is pertinent to valuation. Going to be very expensive to service equipment in space with these chip failure rates.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

It’s a joke on many levels. It craps on what has made America special, and at the same time is meaningless and impossible to implement. The is no strategic purpose to the Administration. Trump just does whatever idiotic and corrupt thing crosses his addled mind.
The new National Security Strategy is a propaganda document, designed to be widely read. It is also a performative suicide. Hard to think of another great power ever abdicating its influence so quickly and so publicly. It will be worth following the reactions around the world, not just in Europe.
Trump's national security strategy is out and some of the Europe sections are shocking. "...the growing influence of patriotic European parties indeed
gives cause for great optimism."

I don’t like to argue with my MAGA acquaintances because it always devolves to them accusing me of supporting liberals. Not of being one. My background doesn’t allow for that computation to do anything but cause their thinking to glitch.

Spread this far and wide. Flip the house or doom the country to authoritarian rule by a racist tyrant.
There are 38 GOP-held House seats where the Republican won by 15 pts or less *and* where Trump either lost or won by 15 pts or less.

Some of these are being redistricted, of course, and some incumbents aren't running again, but here they are regardless, w/estimates of #ACA enrollment for each:

Bailey's alternative.
Bailey's is owned by Diageo. This is the company that just shuttered the Ontario Crown Royal bottling plant in order to move production to the USA.
Corby is partly owned by Pernod Ricard, but this is made in Cowansville, Quebec by Ungava Spirits Co. (bought by Corby in 2016.)
