I’m relatively pissed off at Pennsylvania again, but I do still love Pittsburgh and it’s so refreshing to hear this architect talk about how beautiful the city and western Pennsylvania in general is and how it factored into this terminal’s design. PIT got a real winner here.

Nice to hear him speak so highly of the fantastic topography that makes Pittsburgh and Western PA so special. If Alaska does their CLE-PIT-SEA “looper” again this year I might get to see this during the winter. They did a great job.

This right here is why most chains are not doing unique architecture like this anymore. Everyone knows this used to be a Pizza Hut and they don’t really like that. Building bland structures that all follow the same cookie cutter design prevents this.

After the last couple of years I’m not actually sure that’s true. But something tells me they won’t touch any “democrat” no matter how conservative they are again for a generation. While it’s still the case in some states, many are aligning how they vote in off years to how they vote in pres years.
