#NEW: The Indiana House has voted 57-41 to pass the proposed Indiana congressional map. It now goes to the Indiana Senate. iga.in.gov/legislative/…

The walls are closing in on this guy. First Yahell and now Inc. and Fast Company…

There’s a message being sent with these pieces to business leaders and investors: This guy has failed and is unlikely to succeed at his plans.
Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol's strategy involves "command-and-control management," neglecting the workers that gave Starbucks its positive reputation in the first place.

It's not just baristas on ULP strike calling this out - read the latest in Fast Company:

The CEO of Starbucks is making a very big mistake—and it’s destroying what made the company great
Brian Niccol wants to return the world’s biggest coffeehouse to its roots, but his plan is doing the opposite.

A few years ago, Bill Nye the science guy debated creationist Ken Ham about evolution. The last question was "what would change your mind?"

Bill Nye said "Evidence."

Ken Ham said "Nothing can possibly change my mind about this."

I think about that a lot.

This is a bit of misnomer. Though the Superheater repair was done in time, a serious bearing issue (I’m told, at least) emerged during the November test runs. That fact is lightly alluded to in the piece but what is not mentioned is that she missed the first two weekends. 😔
Still, this is good news!

It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.
Exclusive: Amazon has long been USPS’s top customer, providing over $6 billion in annual revenue in 2025.

But Amazon may give up its long-standing partnership with USPS to deliver packages itself, which could spell disaster for the mail agency.

I decided to fact check this.

He’s not lying.

And not only that…

here’s what Penn Medicine said…

“Your care team will monitor you with *regular MRIs* and visits.

MRI before the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th infusions.”

THIS EXPLAINS WHY HE HAD AN MRI.

Anyone can break up a showing of an enemy propaganda film by putting two or three dozen large moths in a paper bag. Take the bag to the movies with you, put it on the floor in an empty section of the theater as you go in and leave it open. The moths will fly out and climb into the projector beam,

I gotta say I love how Sean Duffy literally goes on TV and mentioned station wagons and now half my feed is talking about station wagons.

Am I going to see the term station wagon trending in the discover tab when I wake up later?
December 4, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Station Wagons are and always will be more efficient than any van or SUV for the simple reason that they are more aerodynamic. Full stop.

You could make a woody EV wagon today. Seriously.

But no one except us nerds would buy it.

Just like no one except evil nerds will buy a new country squire…
I had a station wagon until it was taken out by a deer last year. Fuel economy regulations are not the problem with them.

Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

NOW SALUTE AT THE USRA MIKADO
December 4, 2025 at 2:43 PM
This is actually true. And the Grand Canyon Railway has even proven it with their lovely ex-CB&Q 4960.
The irony is that you could easily build a modern steam locomotive that runs "clean" using vegetable oil or torrefied biomass as the fuel and it would end up emitting less than the station wagon AND moving significantly more people and goods.
December 4, 2025 at 2:36 PM
I’ll take a 1948 Lima J-3e 4-8-4, please 🥹
You know what? Fine. If Sean Duffy wants to deregulate fuel and "bring back the 1970s station wagon," I get to use older vehicles too. Give me the damn steam locomotive, let's go.

I have an older Ford and every month, the local Ford dealer sends me an email with an offer to trade in my car for a newer one. I always ignore it but next time I’ll reply: “I will never buy another Ford because Jim Farley supported trump’s racism and did it proudly in front of the whole world.”

Ford and Stellantis officially lost me until these fuckheads are gone - at least until then. GM sending a plant manager is…interesting. I wonder why Mary B didn’t show up for GM.

(She’s still a fucking cunt herself)
OK I’ve put together the list. Shame on all of them:

Ford CEO Jim Farley
Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa
General Motors plant manager John Urbanic
National Auto Dealers Association Chairman Tom Castriota
Transportation Sec Sean Duffy
Deputy transportation Sec Steven Bradbury

When you don’t see life through a racist or isolationist lens, you start to care about other things.

Going to a 4-year college FORCES intergroup contact in most (though not all) cases. Community colleges don’t have the same effect, recent data bears out.

This is part of why Rs hate education.
