Tiriti-based teaching changed my children’s schooling for the better. Now legislation narrows focus to just academic achievement.

It is absolutely critical to democracy that communities directly own their water infrastructure but also unimportant that those same communities get to decide how they look after our environment?

If cognitive dissonance could be harnessed for fuel then we could all live happily ever after

“Little rewarded the conservative councillors who ran a self-described “campaign of disruption” throughout his predecessor Tory Whanau’s mayoralty by giving them control of four of the most powerful committees.”

Labour: Women are worth it, except when it’s not politically convenient. Then hell no.
Andrew Little buddies up to the right
In his first council meeting as Wellington mayor, Andrew Little opened a political rift between Labour and the Greens.

OMG! I bought a can of Cream of Mushroom soup. Also certain brands of Ramen. Not the spice packets, the NOODLES.

Nothing today either.

If you are an ally/voter/concerned about further restrictions to healthcare that this move is a trial balloon for, and you’re wondering how long is too long to wait to speak up, imo any official response now is inauthentic - and inspires zero confidence for support in future.
Labour is now the only Opposition party who has not put out an official press release denouncing the NZ government’s restrictions to healthcare access for trans youth and affirming their strong support for the trans, takatāpui and rainbow communities.

Snorts:
The way to reach such a finding, it seems, is to give as much weight to under-powered conclusion-driven studies with shonky methodologies, and to gold-standard studies with huge samples and methodologies not determined by the intended results.
This commendably non-elitist approach…
