POTUS can direct any military operations they feel necessary without Congressional approval.

Only Congress can declare war.

After engaging in mil ops, POTUS must seek Congressional approval within 60 days to continue funding allocations.

Been this way since the War Powers Act of 73.

The only way out now is regime change in Iran.

W/o regime change, Iran achieves a nuke pretty rapidly. I expect them to move all things nuke east and prob into one of the Stans.

Also, I expect Iran to build and employ dirty bombs due to all of this.

None of this ends well.

We arent at war.

There is a big difference in these types of mil ops and war.

POTUS needs Congress approval to spend money on this within 90 days.

Israels actions respective to both Gaza and Iran are egregious oversteps and clear violations of multiple international treaties and laws.

Iran was completely contained, its proxy armies defeated and gone. Iran's military is garbage. Iran cant effectively threaten Israel by any legitimate means.

The Sauds have openly stated, multiple times, they have zero interest in nuclear anything. No other Persian/Arab nation would rush to get one either.

Israel acquiring nuclear weapons is what started Iran on this path. Israel started this security spiral.

Iran is then simply balancing the system.

4/ all the bluster of Iran is performative, and always has been. This attack was unnecessary as Iran was fully contained due to the fuck up by Hamas, they and Hezbollah are gone, Iran lost its proxy armies. Syria and Lebanon as well. The only support left is a small band in Yemen.

Iran has never been expeditionary and doesnt have chem/bio outside of PBAs and riot control type agents.

2/ Pakistan, home to multiple radical jihadist groups, has had nuclear tech and weapons for over 40 years, and it was only via espionage that it left their borders. China and Russia didnt help much either.
Funnily, it was France who helped Iran the most, providing material during the sanctions.

History also says that the US had nuclear weapons in Turkey, Italy, and West Germany long before the Soviets even thought about Cuba.

These egregious actions by Netanyahu will not prevent Iran from creating nuclear weapons, and in fact will most likely accelerate that process.
