Well, well, well.

Would you look who it is warning of "doom" if you don't invest in the world's most dangerous financial bubble ever.

When you’re so deep into dehumanising refugees you convince yourself there must be a nefarious reason they take care of their children rather than yknow, love
BBC News: "the government believe refugees are deliberately bringing their children to avoid deportation"

As opposed to doing what with their children??

“I agree with Nick.”

Kill the industry, you say? That sounds tough for that industry. Which industry was that again?

Oh. The stealing industry? Maybe killing that industry wouldn’t be such a bad thing? Considering it’s kind of a bad industry. Unlike the other one, which it’s currently killing.

The Labour Party used to be the political arm of the trade union movement. Now it's the political arm of property development, arms dealers and fossil fuel peddlers.

BREAKING: “We will be closing the care worker visa for overseas recruitment” - Home Secretary Yvette Cooper

Don’t we have a desperate shortage of care workers?

To shut down or unjustifiably curtail efforts to raise the alarm about a genocide is effectively to collude with that genocide (morally if not legally speaking).

This is particularly true in states like the US, UK and Germany: key external facilitators of the genocide.
The Met Police banning opponents of Israel's genocide from protesting outside the BBC underlines a central truth.

Opponents of mass slaughter are demonised as hateful extremists.

Cheerleaders of barbarism are 'mainstream moderates'.

gives me a headache that zuckerberg can do the most vile shit, say in an interview he fucking loves it, and people are like, "he's letting himself be bullied by trump". no! he's doing this cause he feels trump gives him an excuse to, not to "surrender" to him. grow up! trump is them, they are trump!

The thing that the oligarchs fundamentally misunderstand is that civil society and social safety nets were the compromise of the social contract. Dismantling civil society, rolling back civil rights, looting public resources, and exacerbating unimaginable wealth inequality fundamentally breaks it.

Labour ministers repeatedly say that national security is their first duty as a government. Well the incoming neo-fascist Trump administration is plainly a threat to our national security, from its climate wrecking policies to Musk's far right incitement. Yet all we see from Labour is appeasement.
These comments by Streeting are disgraceful. The safety of a senior female politician has been put at risk; let alone that she's been grotesquely defamed.

Bullied myself into going out for a brisker than average walk as I have been strolling a bit this week. Then decided I should run 5k because I should do that more often. So I went out and ran 10k.

16th December.

Made a sauce from plum tomatoes that were outside on plants until mid October and, harvested, have ripened on a window sill in November and December.

Not sure that, climate wise, this is a good thing.

But it was a nice sauce.

"No, he ended up in hospital and filed a complaint for workplace harassment"
my mate who used to work in dominic raab's office had a mate who used to work in kemi badenoch's office who reports that what is being said about her eating steak at her desk every day for lunch is completely true. what is being missed out is that she would sear it in the office laminator

Was hoping to get out early and do half my intended walking and calorie burning before the storm blew in but managed to stay out for 2 hours because the forecast was off. Worse weather seems to be arriving now but I'm 1000 calories up so it might be an old style TV Saturday from hereon in.
