So the former mayor can prioritize sidewalk projects in front of his home, give City contracts to his donors and consultants, and earmark money for a club that he's a board member of... but help with childcare is over the line?
Welp, after years of planning, pots of dedicated funding, promises that despite other elements getting yanked from the plans that sidewalk repairs were still on the table, the only sidewalk on LWB that got repaved this year was the segment right in front of Bruce's house.

What a sign of the times. I’d hoped we’d see a gas station or corporate fast food-free U-District before this, but here ya go. This neighborhood is always in constant evolution.
The Varsity Theatre is closing, effective Thursday, leaving the U District, once a hub of moviegoing, without a movie theater.

A lot of people have friends and relatives in or near Minneapolis. The word, and the videos, are spreading. For the moment, it might only be the very online who are seeing fuller coverage of what's going on, but that is not going to be the case for long.

Credible reports given multiple videos that ICE (or CBP?) in Minneapolis is going door to door, breaching doors when residents will not open, and searching homes with no warrant or even statement of a particularized suspicion, and trying to prevent residents from recording. Flagrantly illegal
