If all cyclists have to wear hi viz then surely all cars should be bright colours and not black or grey or even dark blue?

Deleted a post about “what’s your least favorite song” because the vibes are bad enough already.

Instead: what’s your favorite song that has a long title, say at least 6 words long?

Mine: “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town” (Pearl Jam)

Half the replies are criticising a culture where people work too long and the other half are pointing out that grindcore is a music genre where the songs are very short, it's beautiful.

Honestly, not surprised that professional rightwing talking head guys cannot or will not conceive of a woman having fight as her default reaction. They're not just cowards, their entire worldview rests on women being meek and mild (like Ilhan, I'm definitely in the 'punch a bitch' category).
Reactionaries are such cowards they can’t even imagine someone displaying courage

The Camp Freedom Falls conversation in episode 4 is utterly essential to the series because it simultaneously explains both why Carol is resisting the Plurbs and why she's like that. That people can watch that and still view Carol in moral absolutes is ridiculous.
Pluribus reddit discourse is so funny. “Are we supposed to root for Carol” you are supposed to watch how her character interacts with the world “she’s very unlikable” wow that’s crazy can they do that

In Birmingham it is still Christmas 2024.
New rule: the Xmas period doesn’t end until bin collections go back to the usual schedule.
Which means next Wednesday for me.

I sprang a quiz question on my gf last night and the answer was Zoe Saldaña, so when she asked for a clue I said "Is in a huge franchise film that's out right now". Let me tell you, she did NOT remember there's an Avatar film out now.

I've been running a DnD 5e game since May 2020, and the last six months I've really struggled with running encounters now they are level 12. This is a known issue with DnD that it can become too much for DMs who aren't very tactically minded and I'm definitely one of them.

Introduce yourself as what almost killed you:

Hello, I'm a gloopy pile of newborn baby poop and, horrifyingly, I'm in a pair of lungs not a bowel. Enjoy.
Introduce yourself as what almost killed you:

Hey! I'm a vestigial meaty organ that was on the wrong side of my body when it went time-bomby and the doctors didn't realise.
Introduce yourself as what almost killed you:

Greetings! I am a very, very dusty lamp with no bulb in my socket and I am turned on. Dust me?
