I know that, if the Yankees or Dodgers sign him, he’ll win a Nobel Prize in literature, so I think the Red Sox should sign Murakami.
One thing I'm starting to notice: There seems to be a conventional wisdom coalescing that Munetaka Murakami is just going to be a terrible hitter in MLB, and I'd hold off on the hot takes I'm seeing until we actually see how MLB values him.

I remember a You Can’t Do That on TV episode where a kid was fed his own spleen and it was the first thing I ever watched that genuinely freaked me out
I was pretty young when I saw it but my main takeaways from You Can't Do That On Television were that the world is full of horrors and the median adult is literal ghoul
