This hits hard if you're stupid, but even those people might realize that famously, people tend to want to drive mostly during four or so hours each day.
Musk is back to hyping the idea that your car will work as a robotaxi when you aren't using it, and repeats his wild-ass claim that these cars might be able to earn more than they cost to lease, making them economic perpetual motion machines that Tesla chooses not to profit from itself

Trump's conduct here and his comments about Pretti and Ilham Omar are all consistent with a diagnosis of severe malignant narcissism. A malignant narcissist feels no compassion for others or their losses and understands everything only in terms of how its affects him or his reputation or self-image.

If Joe Biden or Kamala Harris had responded in this manner to an assault on a Republican congressperson, the Times would have demanded their resignation or impeachment by day’s end

The Times likes Donald Trump, so they simply don’t report news that deserves a 96-point headline

Wow media thinking they're more important than the people they cover and holding grudges for years because someone wasn't nice to them, same shit in politics and sports

A stunner from @dvnjr.bsky.social and me: Bill Belichick is not a first ballot Hall of Famer. He didn't get elected this year. The 8-time champion failed to 40 out of the 50 votes required for induction.

Bezos spent $40 million on this, of which $28 million was a direct gift to the Trunp family, plus another $35 million marketing blitz for a propaganda clunker absolutely nobody could have believed would recoup even a small fraction of that cost. It is a flat bribe, right out in public.

this resume is not too much less experienced than many new york times and other elite magazine / media hires
Odd how when people like Bari Weiss go on about 'merit-based hiring', what they mean is hiring nice-looking white boys from elite schools regardless of their experience.

There was a lot of pre-emptive "They're backing down" posting yesterday that made zero sense given this is the only policy the admin really cares about (other than maybe tariffs) and they haven't backed down on anything only because of public pressure
Trump’s demands of Minnesota and Minneapolis - still blaming Dem leadership in the state for the chaos and death his regime has caused. Doesn’t sound promising.

This is actually correct. People don't want to see the news in a boring neutral way that gets co-opted by bad faith actors. That' why they listen to podcasts etc.

Her editorial vision is of course bad, but if anyone in charge actually went after liberal news consumers we'd be getting somewhere
Weiss says the network needs a “singular editorial vision”: “We need to create the wave and then ride it.”
