The thing with books is that there's literally already a free way to read them where people get paid.
There is NO excuse to pirate unless you have no library, and libraries, thankfully, still largely exist somehow.
It legitimizes both the book AND the library system. It's a no-loss scenario.

Video games don't work like that, movies don't work like that, TV doesn't work like that (at least not in the same way, residuals work differently there). But books/comics? If you pirate a book you are straight up taking money out of the author/artist's pocket, every time.

LRP I think when people say “we need to bring back bullying” the actual lesson is that there should be consequences for shitty actions or grievous mistakes. People seem to mistake the two.
Consequences for choices (ex; cancelation) isn’t bullying; you violated the societal contract & caused harm.
