Oh, I love this. A new species of sea anemone was discovered recently that parks itself on top of a hermit crab shell like a hat. It seems to feed partly off the crab's faeces, but it also excretes a hard shell that extends the crab's home. In return, it's carried around the seafloor like a king.

Seems to always boil down to whether or not you think poor people deserve pleasure or if you think an appropriate punishment for being poor is hunger, malnutrition, and misery.
"What should poor people be allowed to eat?" seems to be a burning question for those who aren't poor, have never been poor, and can afford to eat what they like, but want to keep poor people from eating anything that tastes really good. "No fresh meat," said Iowa, a few years ago.

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

I really don’t understand people throwing tantrums over our tax dollars going toward feeding people. Almost any other time our tax dollars are used it’s to line the pockets of the wealthy or for killing people. But feeding hungry families is where you draw the line?
