I'm still vexed by this, especially by how & which words in all caps my screen-reader chooses to read as acronyms.

But just to say.

Please avoid putting all caps in alt text if you can.

Maybe adding 'written shoutily in all caps' after the text would be better than copypasting all caps?

My kingdom for a screen reader that reads posts in all caps in a loud shouty voice.

Instead of arbitrarily deciding that some of the words are acronyms and reading them out letter my letter.

(The longest word it's done this with is 'multiverse' I think.

…My good bleep, that's 10 friggin letters.)
