I want fewer, worse looking manga (and comics in general) with longer waits between issues if it means I don't get to be able to name like a dozen of my favorite artists that are all dead at 40-60
A lot of people look at manga and imagine a paradise. That paradise is an illusion.
The artists who draw manga are working with a team of assistants. And even so, it is commonplace for them to work around the clock, continually without rest.
and then they die at 60.
No regrets.
