"What I think is lacking is, was there even an attempt made to try to verify the accuracy of what he was saying, or did they simply take him at his word?" says University of Minnesota media law professor Jane Kirtley about a recent video made accusing Somali-owned day care centers of fraud.
Here’s what to know about a viral YouTube video about fraud in Minnesota
University of Minnesota media law professor Jane Kirtley says the new viral video is flashy, but absent of facts to back up its claims — and its lack of transparency could be considered deceptive.

Just realizing about the only thing the admin/right aren’t trying to force back into the culture is cigs.
there's something magical about the only phrasing for cigarette ads that's still legal. are these good? are they healthier than other cigarettes? we can't talk about. But we can promise they're 'consistent'

Idk or care the context here. Lots of women have issues with supply and latching. It’s another unfair tax on females/mothers to push the expectation and lofty ideals.

Is it always possible, not even close. Oh, and are we actually giving leave to any woman who wants it? Or what’s the deal there?

Ah sweet, hating Notre Dame is back on the menu!
I don't like that Notre Dame opted out of a bowl for missing the CFP. I think it's bad for the sport.

I also think Notre Dame should've been in. But other snubbed teams got up their bowls. We only get so many games in football. I hate giving that up.

Notre Dame’s opt-out crosses a new line — and college football is worse off for it
Notre Dame may be upset, but the point of playing football is to play football.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

America’s mayor
My god this is for real one of the most incredible speeches I’ve ever seen by an elected US politician: ‘And if there is any way to terrify a despot, it is to dismantle the very conditions that allowed him to accumulate power. This not only how we stop Trump, it’s how we stop the next one.’
Mamdani: "We can respond to oligarchy and authoritarianism with the strength it fears, not the appeasement it craves. After all, if anyone can show a nation betrayed by Donald Trump how to defeat him, it is the city that gave rise to him."
