To me, this is a move of desperation.

This Disney open AI deal is so crazy cause they have always been so protective of their characters. I had to fight lawsuits from them for my clients over IP in the public domain cause they thought it could tarnish their image. The stuff people will make will more than tarnish it.

Just spent 20 mins writing a tutorial with screenshots on how to open a split zip file cause for some reason people in their late 20s have no idea how basic computer programs work or how to Google the answer. They are going to be very confused when they unzip the database load file inside.

One of my World Cup matches ended up being Croatia vs Ghana which should be a good match except the last time I saw Croatia their fans set the field on fire and their coach called them "Fútbol terrorists" so hopefully it goes better than that

This is terrible, terrible news for film preservation and physical media. Warner Bros. was doing very well with releasing their catalog out on 4K while Netflix is incredibly hostile towards anyone actually owning films or series.

Nothing about these massive media mergers is great, but of all the options, this was the best case scenario, as long as Netflix still does, in fact, keep WB largely separate and with full theatrical releasing. HBO Max might go the way of the dodo, however.

America does not have capital punishment for selling or smuggling drugs and none of these people were arrested or tried. There could have been mountains of cocaine in open view on the deck of the boats and it still would have been murder of unarmed civilians.
Rand Paul just posted this letter from the Coast Guard confirming that 1/4 of the boats they stop carry no contraband. The likelihood that Hegseth & Bradley ordered the murder of innocent civilians is very high.
