I spent probably an hour last night trying to decipher a Chinese phrase that just wasn't making sense, only to learn from the author that it was simply a typo. 🙈 Presumably this has happened to other literary translators too?

On my end, every novel I translated was stolen, along with a book I co-edited, several academic articles + book review that I wrote, and some short stories I translated that were published in literary journals.
