I was graduating with my aerospace engineering degree in 2016 and even back then the word on the street was SpaceX was not a good choice, despite them succeeding in landing their first stage successfully.
The media is entirely responsible for Donald Trump in our lives and Elon Musk as well. Real engineers and scientists knew he was a moron long ago. I was told repeatedly by my brother and his nerds at JPL that Elon was a dolt. But tech press don't know shit either and access is the name of the game.

From his defense of the free speech rights of Holocaust deniers to his more recent statements opposing antifa activism, Chomsky has been consistently wrong on fascism in its social movement form.
At some point in the past, Chomsky did a lot of good getting Americans to at least recognize the horrors our government was responsible for, but we have long moved past the need for him, and it’s been decades since he was actually on the side of the angels so much as just vaguely tangential to them.
