I remember back in the early 60s, Maple Leaf Gardens sent a letter to people who had season tickets in the “reds” (most expensive seats), noting that some people weren’t dressing “appropriately.” Jackets & ties, and dresses were expected.

The only really famous person I've had to spend time with was Leonard Cohen. I asked him how his songs came to be used in McCabe And Mrs. Miller.

I had a lesion on my back, got a medical referral to a dermatologist. Took months for the appointment. He said it was fine (free) but if I wanted, he could remove but just for appearance. A year later it looked worse, so made appt for cosmetic procedure. Got appt in a week. Plus $$$

Very possible there would be significant voter rejection of such a quick blatant opportunistic move. Ford 25 & Trudeau 21 didn’t really suffer for unnecessary call, though it was later in their term. Peterson 90 got burnt tho.
