BNEF+IEA say 2026 will install less solar than in 2025.
Here are caveats:
1. They say by a small margin: BNEF=1% fall, IEA 9% fall.
2. There's huge uncertainty (so may not happen).
3. If additions are unchanged in 2025 to 2026, it will still add 25%(!) to cumulative capacity.

There's significant evidence from state legislative term limits that they do, in fact, empower both lobbyists and state executive branches.

I disagree with the suggestion that term limits would further empower lobbyists and therefore we shouldn't consider them as a viable path forward. The current system of federal elected officials who are financially incentivized to become insider traders until they choose to retire isn't working.

What is there to stop China from invading Taiwan, Putin from kidnapping Zelensky? If the US can kidnap Maduro, then any asshole dictator can kidnap the leader of another country and occupy that country. Chaos. Madness.
