The Brewers players were better than the Cubs in offense and defense at every position except 2nd base. The Brewers starting pitchers outperformed the Cubs. Cubs managing and coaching decisions helped keep the series close.

Hey, turns out there is some benefit to playing well during the whole season, winning the division, and having home field advantage in the postseason.

It’s not just “get into the playoffs any way you can, and hope you get hot”

I agree, the FOX graphic is less irritating. The graphic isn’t the zone; it’s an approximation of a zone. Next year will be a challenge system, not objective. But maybe hopefully the challenge system will make broadcasts remove the graphic?

He’s been in a lot of great movies I really liked. His acting work is excellent. His activism is also admirable. And he’s had many accusations of sexual misconduct, which means he’s an ass who doesn’t deserve any public attention.

I’m sad there are two west coast teams remaining, because it means I’m going to miss the second half of a lot of games.
