“It’s hard to win the World Series. I’ve been chasing it all my life.” —Aaron Boone

If this is being set up for Giancarlo Stanton to be the hero, sign me up.

I will also accept arguments for "It would have been better a few days earlier"

That was Jasson Domínguez's first postseason at-bat. It was pretty good. It would have been better a few innings earlier.

Looks like Jasson Domínguez is pinch-hitting for Anthony Volpe

Swinging on the first pitch there … I just don't know.

Seriously, every time he looks back at Stanton, I chuckle. What the hell, man?

I definitely think that with a 5-1 lead, Jeff Hoffman should be spending energy worrying about Giancarlo Stanton on second base.

It's worth thinking about how many good and worthy things Marlins Man could do with his money.

Nathan Lukes is the third fakest-sounding baseball name on the Blue Jays roster behind Addison Barger and Mason Fluharty.

Ernie Clement. I simply do not get it.

That was Anthony Volpe's 10th strikeout of the ALDS

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. being unstoppable in a postseason series is something you can semi-understand. Daulton Varsho and Ernie Clement is entirely different.

Amazingly, that strikeout to end the fourth was just Cam Schlittler's first of the game, after his 12-K outing against Boston. Toronto obviously much more of a contact team. After rocky first, he has settled in, needing just 47 pitches to get through four.

This feels like one of the more important innings of young Cam Schlittler's life

This is a very sweet post, and I feel a little bad that my first reaction upon seeing the book title was to think about The Thrills' song "Whatever Happened to Corey Haim?"

Often, if I was struggling to write, I pictured Addie and her two sisters, and wrote the story directly to them
Young white woman, Addie Lovell, in a blue and white striped Oxford, indoors in a retail setting, holds up a copy of my book, what ever happened to Eddy Crane, a memoir and a murder investigation, by kate crane. She looks proud.

Aaron Judge's HR came on a 99.7 mph pitch.

That's the fastest pitch he's ever hit for a home run in his MLB career.
