I was surprised by the range and specificity of options for "what are your concerns about AI." As a survey kind of feels like an effort by designers to push back on features investors and management are shoving down our throats

Hi! I'm a medical doctor, and I'm here to tell you about ChatGPT Health!

Don't use it! It will probably misinterpret your health results and give you bad medical advice! Talk to your licensed health practitioner instead!

OpenAI launches ChatGPT Health, encouraging users to connect their medical records
But it’s ‘not intended for diagnosis or treatment.’

RFK Jr seems as if he's just being blatantly contrarian at this point.

RFK Jr.'s new food pyramid puts meat, cheese and vegetables at the top
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has announced new dietary guidelines for Americans focused on promoting whole foods, healthy proteins and fats. And he's 'declared war' on sugar.

My next book is Gifts by Ursula K LeGuin. I've heard great things about her. First chapter is intriguing thus far.

I finished the book. For a book that covers redemption, justice, recidivism, capitalism, socialism, racism, genderism, and several other heady topics, Going Postal is remarkably accessible. I highly recommend it.

Disney continues to show its utmost confidence in the latest phase of Marvel superheroes by announcing for the third time that nostalgia bait from 15 years ago will be starring in their new Avengers movie.

I want to encourage Cassidy to speak up about all the bad decisions RFK's circus make because speaking up is the right thing to do.

But I'll also jeer at him every time he speaks up given how this whole health crisis could have been mitigated if he just had a backbone during RFK's confirmation.

Installing stuff through Zorin OS is quite easy if the app is listed in its app store. Otherwise, app installation can be a bit finicky. The whole bebian vs Ubuntu vs Arch vs flatpack thing can muddy the waters a bit.

Your mileage definitely varies depending on which distro you use regarding how easily you can install apps.
Installing Linux was easy. Installing apps has been like learning to ride a bike, except one wheel is square and the other is triangular and sometimes the ground isn’t there

I'm over halfway through the book now, which is a feat for me. I usually do not read this quickly or attentively, but Pratchett has enchanted me.

Someone made $400K by predicting Maduro's capture. Here's what happened
The winnings come as the rules governing prediction markets are still evolving.

Waking up to the news that the US has bombed Venezuela, kidnapped its president, and will now seek to decide its fate (i.e. “liberate” its natural resources). We don’t have money for basic infrastructure in our local communities, but we can always start new wars? Absolutely sickening.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.
