again we do not really do a good job of explaining how wealthy people like Jeff Bezos are

his net worth is $253.2 billion.
so he could take one million dollars, and just light it on fire
and then do it again tomorrow
and again the day after that
and then do it every day for 693 years and 8 months

There's a lane in the music industry for "marketable" artists who are willing/happy to make music that basically gets created by algorithms designed to be "inoffensive" and "positive" and useful for corporations and major media.

Think like how Macklemore got so mainstream or Lizzo after him.

How many of those evangelical leaders are pedophiles as well? #RapeCulture
Why do few evangelical leaders seem to care about Trump's Epstein scandal? As Rev. Rob Schenck writes, they have a long history of falling for narcissists posing as Saviors.

Make no mistake, this is the model the Trump administration is looking to emulate with their warehouse purchases; they want a national chain of CECOTs.
“The 32-page document reveals that 94% of those killed were not gang members. Among them were evangelical pastors, union leaders, taxi drivers, and four minors, including a newborn. This figure triples the 153 deaths in state custody reported by the organization Cristosal in 2023.“

Every time there is a mass layoff I hope people remember that newsletters cannot save us. The Free Press started as a newsletter but came to influence as something more like a newspaper (without the journalism).

We need to somehow invest in media infrastructure, not a thousand little ladders.
