I know it’s scary to hear the truth. That the system you were taught to love is the problem. That one that allowed someone like Trump to rise to power is the issue. That the way out of this will not be neatly packaged so you can make it to brunch in time.

It’s okay to be scared. Im scared too.

MA passed a millionaire's tax &it was the same chicken little propaganda.
Only 16k had to pay in & we had a net positive of people moving into the state.

Meanwhile, now ALL kids get free school meals all year, community college, UMass, MassArt and other 4 year schools are all free, etc, etc

We didnt vote our way out of slavery. We didnt vote our way out of Jim Crow. It took a war to stop the Confederates. Another to stop the Nazis. There is no way out of this, especially against an enemy willing to die for their cause.
Never in the history of ever has fascism been peacefully voted out of office

What will it take to get major media outlets to even just stop granting the presumption of good faith? Not to say they’re lying even, but just to treat claims as claims rather than facts?
This is sort of a pattern: See also naive parroting of the claim that troops are being deployed to cities “to fight crime”. You don’t have to do admin propaganda by laundering their falsehoods in your headlines.
Did the New York Times have an editorial meeting where they said something like “these are trustworthy people, we should take their word, put it headlines, that’s good journalism.”

Did they go so far as to say “we should help the Trump administration sell this action”?

Or do they just sorta do it?

If only they’d been proclaiming their love of Hitler, they could count as children well into their 40s.
After the FBI denied "children were zip-tied or hit with rubber bullets" in a raid in Wilder, Idaho, the FBI said no "young" children were.

The updated statement came after KIVI-TV sent FBI photo reportedly showing 14-year-old U.S. citizen in zip ties.

there's something really dark in the fact that a court can acknowledge that a military unit committed a bunch of murders, that they did so after "losing all sense of military discipline," and yet they can't sentence anyone for it.

Every day brings something new for Herald readers to be afraid of, page after page. Be very afraid! 🎃

The Herald loves to cast Mayor Wu as anti-development. But when the first major rezoning of Downtown in a half-century is approved, it’s too much. Common theme? Fear. ☠️

In the 17th century some Europeans believed that a bite from a tarantula (or rather wolf spider) led to tarantism, a type of hysteria that could only by cured by a frenzied dance, the tarantella!

Indeed, this is literally an erasure of all the hard work First Ladies have done in the last 100+ years, for good or for bad.
The East Wing is home to the Office of the First Lady and has played a key role in women’s visibility in the White House. This week, bulldozers began to tear it down to clear the way for President Donald Trump’s $250 million ballroom.
