NOAA is an absolute mess, and it’ll be worse tomorrow. Please help us. There have already been over 1,000 terminations. It’s not just layoffs—Elon Musk and his staffers are trying to completely dismantle us. Today, there were tons of firings, and more are coming tomorrow.

I know there are bigger issues in the world but if someone is about to give you a vitamin B injection and tells you it’s “spicy”, reader, you should know that means it will hurt like you are being stung by a series of ever-angrier wasps. You’re welcome.

Dear media,

Once again, I implore you, please stop running photos of that man with your articles and see how it starts to suck the life out of him. Run photos of who he’s harming instead. Elevate them. I am sick of his face and those in harm’s way should be highlighted. Thanks a million!

Today I learned that musk, in may 2024, objected to an SEC subpoena because of the appointments clause.

In case anyone was wondering about his views about the president’s power to fire every government attorney.

I have the worst flu I have ever had, hands-down, our power is out, and now there is a mosquito harassing me. I realize there are real, legitimate problems in the world (too many, really) but I currently am feeling a bit whingy and wishing for power, restored health, and an end to fascism.

Really wish @schiff.senate.gov and @padilla.senate.gov would actually do something about this. We’re the 6th largest economy in the world and Californians have so much at stake and we’re getting milquetoast responses from our elected officials. Glad Senator Kim is out calling attention to this
The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.

Hero. We need more people to stand up like this. Also, note that they deleted her earlier email
An EEOC admin. judge sent a fiery all-department email this AM alleging:
1. Trump's exec orders & instructions to target private citizens with them are illegal.
2. the judge had sent an earlier email with a similar tone yesterday that later vanished from their sent folder & colleagues' inboxes.

Okay, I want to say it again for anyone who needs to hear it right now:

Yes, calling is better for getting in touch with your reps. But right now? DO IT HOWEVER YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE.

I'm really concerned that the emphasis on calling right now is stopping people from getting in touch.

Can't stress enough how important it is to care for our nervous systems right now and in the days, months and years to come. All of that fear and anxiety will take a toll on us. Take time to breathe, feel it and let it move through you. Even if all you can do is 5-15mins a day, that can do wonders.
