My name is Kate Sills, and I'm running for Congress for my brother.

He's in the Navy & our military is being asked to kill civilians.

These are unlawful orders.

Now Trump has called for people like me, who are standing up for our military, to be hanged.

Can you help me?

Nenko Gantchev should still be alive—home with his family. After 30 years contributing to Chicagoland as a small business owner and taxpayer, ICE detained him, ignored his medical needs, and he died in custody. This system is cruel, reckless, and must be held accountable.

People should be rightfully angry about the military getting bonus checks, while the rest of the country is struggling, but please remember the service members did not make this decision. They are being used as political pawns by this administration and they need our support now more than ever.

This is extraordinary, heartbreaking, and a red alert warning sign for our democracy.

These people are about to be federal judges, and they refuse to answer whether the U.S. Capitol was attacked on January 6.

They say they can't comment because it's "a political controversy".
Sen. BLUMENTHAL: Was the U.S. Capitol attacked on January 6, 2021?

Trump nominee: *dodges*

Trump nominee: *dodges*

Trump nominee: Well, individuals entered the Capitol.

Blumenthal: You are in fear—how will you have the courage to be fair and impartial?

The Trump admin says it aims to file 100-200 denaturalization cases per month, a huge increase. But these cases are hard to file and win, and require a lot of DOJ resources, and the DOJ is incredibly stretched thin already. So we’ll see; I have serious doubts about their ability to do this.
What this will mean, in practice, that if you are deemed an enemy of the administration, they will pore through your citizenship application paperwork looking for some reason to retroactively disqualify you.

Trump and Speaker Johnson are trying to block a vote to extend ACA tax credits.

Democrats created a discharge petition and got 218 signatures — a majority of the House.

Speaker Johnson needs to bring our bill to the floor NOW and save American families from a premium hike.

I support @repmcgovern.bsky.social's Bipartisan War Powers Resolution.

Our service members signed up to risk their lives for our Constitution, for our country. Not for the whims of a Mad King. The lives of service members like my brother are at risk for no good reason.

Donald Trump has been talking about airstrikes, troops on the ground, and naval or air blockades. These are acts of war.

But the Constitution is very clear: only Congress can declare war. So today I’m forcing a vote on my War Powers Resolution to say clearly that we reject this madness.
