it's because the notion that child sexual abuse is some uniquely taboo universally reviled übercrime for which men can easily get their lives/careers ruined is a myth and always has been. it's always been tacitly permitted, winked at, ignored, excused, and downplayed across all sectors of society.
Maybe it's my Autism Brain or whatever, but I don't really get why anyone who had access to this stuff wouldn't have splashed these horrific revelations literally everywhere the second you knew about them. Take these fuckers down.

I didn't know the term but this is how they taught my class, and I couldn't read. So eventually they pulled me out and sat me with someone, one of my friendz' Mums actually, and she taught me to sound words out. And within a year or two I was reading more than anyone else in my class
ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy
