I genuinely would love to adopt when I'm ready to have kids however in my country it's not really an option. A total of 200 kids were adopted nationwide in the last year. The waitlists are huge and despite anti discrimination I have heard anecdotally LGBT couples are unlikely to be selected.

Yeah exactly, on top of not including trans healthcare specialists, on top of demanding randomised control trials when that's not ethically possible with youth, AND hard to accurately measure as the placebo ppl will immediately know they have a placebo.

But similar to other methods you just track via blood tests and once it starts dropping to a level that's close to where you now its too low you just order another one.

To give you some idea though, I put my last ones in in June 2024. My last bloods a month ago my levels were 1100pmol/l

It's slow yeah, so you put it in and it takes about a month or so to reach close to full levels then sloooowly tapers up slightly more then starts sloooowly dropping.

Usually you can tell when it's starting to drop and it's time to get another one, for me it's when I start getting night sweats.

I also had an old house mate who was non binary and would constantly refer to people by their agab. They got into an argument with another trans woman and then later said 'they must be aggressive because their amab' I basically had an aneurism on the spot.

Completely appreciate the sentiment, and acknowledge that maybe this is just due to word count limit, but if you could please put people after trans in future (i.e trans people) that would be lovely thank you.
