Couldn't believe my ears when that music AI guy said nobody actually enjoys making music. That ranks as one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Anybody who knows how to make music enjoys making music. Why would they have ever learned to do it if it didn't bring them joy?

I once was working the room at an LGBT event in the early 00s for a candidate who jokes to the crowd, "I dress so well I could be gay!" The room fell dead quiet, and as the pol tried to talk themselves out of it, one of my coworkers muttered to me, "you got this, I'm gonna go play on traffic."

Even if you think October 7th was brutal and a military response is justified (you're wrong, but let's stick with the hypothetical), murdering is children is objectively evil. At least 3700 children under 5 have died during the invasion. 1700 Israelis died on October 7th.

My biggest change since becoming a parent 8 years ago is that if you show me a child, I will jump in front of a bus to protect that child. I cannot think of something more inhuman than killing children.
