Quick intro! I’m an ER/Critical Care nurse in the great state of Michigan, specifically Ann Arbor (#GoBlue!). Trump is withholding funding that’s *already there* for SNAP. They’re using hunger as a political weapon by choice.

This mindset contributes to the mental health crisis in vet med. Yes veterinary care has gotten incredibly expensive, and we can blame private equity takeover for a lot of it. Prices aren’t rising because of unnecessary $30 jabs.
