FEMA doesn't seem like a big deal, I suppose, until you've been without power, water, and cell service for weeks. There will be only more weather disasters, and not only will people suffer, people will become all the more radicalized to join right-wing groups, bc that's whose out there helping.

I hate that apps, websites, and services just change things up willy nilly, with no warning. The same service etc you have used for years will just up and shift icons, where things are at, etc.
I know I hate change, but sometimes a bit of warning would be nice.

So my garden is done for the year, and I have learned that my new hardware cloth, 1/2" X 1/2" square metal mesh did, indeed, keep the squirrels and cats out. Now the squirrels and cats lounge on top of the thing, but I can live with that.

My coworkers were shocked I am still not buying at Starbucks becuase of the strikes. Like coffee at Starbucks is a luxury item I don't need to survive, and I would rather it be provided by workers that are treated better.
