I'm constantly baffled by how many strategy games get to extremely high levels of presentation polish without, apparently, having been playtested by anyone.

Someone spent a ton of time thinking "What kind of particle effect should I use when an object is destroyed?" and none on "Is this fun?"

Burger Becky, a trans elder in game development, was recently diagnosed with cancer. When she sets up the inevitable fundraiser to help pay for treatment i hope people will consider giving.

The kicker about this is that yous aren't getting any raises, and every year inflation hits without one, you're taking a pay cut. IDK how to change things but somethings got to change otherwise everyones going to end up out on the streets =/
