This level of apologia (from Megan McArdle in a podcast with Josh Barro and Ross Douthat) is fucking appalling. Idk what else there is to say.

Imagine working in an office where you’ve been goldbricking for decades. The whole office has. Minimal productivity just to squeak by. Then one day a competent person is hired that actually believes in the work. Suddenly you look like the incompetent you are.

And that is why DNC was against Mamdani

Postscript: the police, being cops, issued more citations to the protestors, including the victim, than it did to the shithead who ran them over.

Shut up
@are0h.blacksky.app

Not all white people. Have you been paying attention to the protests?

Another thing...have some courage and allow people to discuss your posts. Otherwise, why are you bothering with being here.

It is really infuriating to see how misogyny really does unite men across the sociopolitical spectrum. And, in so far as the Epstein files go, they sort women into two categories: fuckable or irrelevant. When they near a hint of accountability they complain about not being able to make women prey.

While reporting this, I had something happen that's never happened. A comms rep for one of the co's disputed my reporting and said what I was telling them was untrue because it was not in Grok, xAI's chatbot.

I was looking directly at the files. And this person was using AI to challenge the truth.
Epstein had many known connections to Silicon Valley CEOs, but less known was how he made money from those relationships.

We did a deep dive into how he got dealflow in Silicon Valley, giving him shots to invest in Coinbase, Palantir, SpaceX and other companies.

When we say “they’re going to try to take our voting rights and our elections”, before you brush it off as paranoia, please remember, people didn’t think they could take Roe v Wade either.

Trump and the Republicans are trying to rig the election. That's not being a "doomer," that's acknowledging reality.
Democrats need a coordinated, national response to these coordinated, national attacks. We need an "Elections Czar"

Democrats Need to Get Serious About Stopping Trump From Rigging the Midterms
Here’s one idea for a coordinated response to Trump’s coordinated attacks.

Guess what I do for a living?

Tell people why data centers are bad.

Tell people their electricity bills are going up because of data centers.

Pray on the downfall of data centers.

Praying harder on the downfall of monopoly utilities.
