Logging on to give my labor to one of those MN companies whose CEO signed that milquetoast letter sure is making me feel all kinds of ways this morning.

This is a letter written by genAI, designed to say absolutely nothing. Pure tat.
INBOX: 60+ CEOs of Minnesota-based company call for "an immediate deescalation of tensions and for state, local and federal officials to work together to find real solutions."

No mention of ICE in the letter.

And if you somehow fail to do that while being gassed, beaten and pistol whipped the penalty is death?
Chip Roy: "As someone who carries a weapon in TX, if I'm in front of law enforcement or if I get stopped, I tell them that. I tell them that I've got a concealed carry permit. I show them my ID. I tell them where the weapon is bc that's what we're supposed to do. That's not what I think I saw here"

People already working hard to prove how perfect Alex Pretti was. To show he didn't "deserve" to be killed. But it's a trap folks. You're only feeding into a dynamic where people who are considered lesser get no protection. You don't have to be an Alex Pretti to deserve to live.

We gotta shut this whole fucking country down. Nothing happens. No new laws. No new confirmations. Now work. No nothing until these goons are off the streets forever.

Can’t wait to not vote for this useless individual.
Yes it’s cold in Minnesota—but we embrace it. John and I were in Hastings with Mayor Fasbender for Hockey Day Minnesota to watch my alma mater, Wayzata High School, take on Rogers. Photo taken with parents right after their son scored a goal!

Not only am I happy to see lots of businesses I already support on this list, I’m also learning about others I should as well.
When we started this list of Minnesota businesses taking part in the Jan. 23 economic blackout we didn't realize quite what an undertaking it would be, but we are now at more than 250 and counting.

Keep 'em coming!
List of Minnesota businesses closing for Jan. 23 anti-ICE strike
First announced by faith leaders and unions on Jan. 13, Minnesota businesses have begun announcing plans to join the action.

Just a heads up, if a small business is not participating in the general strike, please don't hold it against them. As they say, every restaurant is two bad weeks from closing. Reward those who make that sacrifice, but don't hold it against others

We’re visiting Chicago and went to the Yoko Ono exhibit at the MCA. One of the pieces began as a plain white room and visitors are asked to cover the space with messages using blue and white markers. There were at least two messages for Renee Good already.

They sing: “This is for our neighbors who are locked inside, together we will abolish ICE.”

I’m an adamant shovel guy, even though we own a snow blower. I can’t really explain why, maybe I just like the physical exertion of it. Today, however I used our snow blower and I get the appeal.
