that is SO valid. i actually hate when people stress that you shouldn’t feel a thing from experiences like that. you can logically know that it’s them and not you, but it absolutely can still cause an emotional impact. especially when they were being so cruel. :( i’m sorry, babes.

well said. it reminds me of people who get really intense road rage or just drive recklessly. i ALWAYS swear that they’ve forgotten that there are people in those other cars. they’re not just vehicles in your way. by that same logic, these accounts aren’t just pixels and words. that’s a human being.

I think it has to do a little with the fact that ppl have a hard time feeling the humanity of a person whom they are so far away from. They don't feel the need to care or consider what ppl could be going through emotionally or dealing with psychologically at any given time. 🤷🏾
