In this new album, Upchuck adds sharpness to their skuzzy punk rock. Despite stumbling in balancing the familiar with the risky, there's more polish and kinship that show growth. A potency worth hearing.

After testing the waters on their debut, Mabe Fratti & l.Ia Catolica now found their footing, crafting amplified emotions through firmer compositions that fly up to the heavens. Overall concise, & extremely moving.

Man, really wanted to love this one.

For a film about queer bond, it's filled with gorgeous aspects that are worth looking & listening, but the plot goes into turns that don't amplify its emotional resonance.
