Wann zieht die #VGWort nach und verklagt die KI-Unternehmen? Es ist eine Frechheit, dass die ganzen LLMs urheberrechtlich geschützte Werke zum Training nutzen - downgeloaded von illegalen Schatzenbibliotheken -, ohne die Urheber angemessen vergüten.
Das Landgericht München I hatte am 11.11. die Nutzung urheberrechtlich geschützter Musikwerke für das Training künstlicher Intelligenz durch OpenAI für unzulässig erklärt (Az. 42 O 14139/24). Für den DJV hat das Signalwirkung, die auch journalistische Texte umfasst.

Ursache oder Krisenfolge? Seit 2023 schrumpfen die Profite im Privatsektor heftig, aber nicht wegen der Abgabenlast: Die wurde durch Preissteigerungen der Unternehmen sogar abgemildert.
