Like to pretend views my own, but are they really? What really is free will, etc.
I'm not sure a 50 minute wait for customer service is doing your very best to help me #royalmail

Is it any coincidence that in the years since the OBR was founded that the UK's economy has, at best, flat lined.

Seen various varieties of this thread and very few people seen to be saying why do students have to pay so much up front?
If I’m not a customer then why do I pay so much? I’m definitely a customer and as a customer I have certain expectations for the service rendered.
YOUR STUDENTS ARE NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Get the fuck out of education if that's the way you're talking about them.

One of the wiring things here is how many people are happy to be outraged by this clearly mad headline even though it's in the daily mail.

@patmillswriter.bsky.social one for you I think
In today’s episode of People Who Think Judge Dredd Is An Instruction Manual And Not A Warning, the US Department of Homeland Security thinks Judge Dredd is an instruction manual and not a warning. And not even the good Judge Dredd, either.

So tell me again how Nigel Farage, who just took the largest ever political donation, from a Tory mega-donor, and another donation from the Viscountess wife of the non-dom owner of the Daily Mail, is planning to "take on the establishment"

While it's great that people have better heating choices, not being able just to say "a single bar electric heater for an hour" is a loss.

As is not using joules, kilojoules, etc
An estimate of the energy cost of producing one single 10 second Sora video: one kilowatt hour.

- Deplete and then recharge your iphone 17 68 times
- 10% of daily German household use
- 5.5 hours of Netflix
- ~4hrs of gaming

This is probably a huge underestimate

On Truss & Kwarteng in ‘22. Allister Heath, Telegraph: “the best budget I have ever heard a British chancellor deliver". Alex Brummer, Mail: “a genuine Tory package elbowing to one side the Treasury's fiscal conservatism".
These men will now be paid actual money for their analysis of today’s budget.

Has anyone looked at the pro flag posts from yaxley Lennon's so called army on X?
If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

🚨 BREAKING: Kent County Council is hurtling towards financial oblivion under Reform.

A shocking new council report reveals a projected budget black hole of £46.5 million for this year. The Reform Administration has completely lost control of our finances. 🔶

The environment agency won't clear it up, but will try and find the people that did it. This is clearly a hopeless response.

What is needed is to clear it up and then bill the relevant people. We can't have rotting rubbish leaching into rivers because the EA is not willing to act

Why are you inviting random councillors on for Reform? You don't do that for the other minor parties.

Ironically, Reform also hate bicycles
Labour's right-wing asylum policy is aimed at saving us from a Reform govt, which would happily send us back to the 1930s, with pipes, bicycles, and signs in the window saying which ethnicities you're prepared to answer the door to.
