Google has started automatically opting you in to let it read your stuff to train AI. You need to turn this off in SEVERAL places in your settings (not just for Gmail), if you want to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

"Silent Hill is terrifying" Silent Hill is only scary if you haven't done the inner work allowing yourself to sit comfortably with silence or if you are somehow afraid of being hunted by a man with a giant sword who also happens to have a pyramid for a head. Otherwise, it's not scary. It's regular.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

This isn't how peer review works. You don't get to select your own reviewers with no relevant experience in the field who are ideologically aligned with your views. They had no ability to impact the publication of the report so the review was a meaningless circlejerk anyways.

The HHS report on gender affirming care released it's updated report showing they stacked its authors with anti-trans hate-group affiliated members, several of whom aren't even doctors with any sort of clinical experience. They selected their own ideologically friendly peer reviewers.
