Today is day 20 (depending on when incarceration countdown begins) of Diana Crespo Gonzales’ incarceration in an ICE prison in Texas. Children are not allowed to legally be detained for more than 20 days.

Number one thing I suggest to people just getting into cooking is to buy a slow cooker and a book of slow cooker recipes

The shelter I got Fern from gave this exact advice! Give pets time to settle in. For cats especially I think it can take up to 6 months for them to really get used to each other, even with slow & careful introductions.
animal shelters in the usa are getting overwhelmed again- if you have the space, time, and resources to foster or adopt a furry friend (or two!) please consider doing so!
just remember that every pet needs time to get used to a new living space 💚
