There’s also one in Madison, Indiana (on the bridge) which is convenient for people in Trimble, Carroll, and Henry County. There was a really good turnout at the spring No Kings event.

I did! I started some indoors, but I don’t think any of them survived transplanting. We had a really wet spring. These zinnias were directly sown.

I’ve got a new flower bed that I’m filling with red-flowering plants and these zinnias have done stupendously well. Can’t wait for next year after the perennials have had a chance to get settled in. 🌱

3. procedural agressiveness
4. end ICE

Serious books bum us out, fun books feel like they're not addressing THE TIMES. Getting something that's both is impossible. Writers are cranking out novels to please their agents, and agents are sending them unedited, and no one is answering anyone's emails because we're really, really tired.

It really can't be said enough: the goal of the "anti-woke" movement was always to destroy social norms against bigotry. And it worked. And there's a whole lot of purportedly "left" thinkers & commentators who helped it -- indeed, it couldn't have been done without them.
