Was collecting my son from Sutherland late last night & stopped to help woman driver who had been run off road (long story) & we spotted an aurora starting to fire up. Within 20 minutes this was the sky - it was wild. Inverted arc to start which then flipped as searchlights and red pulses flickered.

Surely this is Scotland's snazziest trig point?
A re-visit to Ben Rinnes was needed as we knew the old decaying trig point had been encased in steel this summer by the Friends of Ben Rinnes. It has a beautiful granite view indicator too.

A wee PSA for anyone that requires regular prescriptions: please make sure you allow plenty of time when requesting your prescription from the GP...pharmacies can only begin dispensing them when they've received a checked and signed script from the surgery & may need to order certain items in 🙏

Innocent people end up in our criminal courts.

Completely, terrifyingly innocent.

And all that stands between them and losing everything is a fair trial.

Politicians would do well to remember this when they tell us that justice is all about processing “criminals” swiftly.
