ICE shipped my kids to CECOT and I’m going to die because I followed the CDC recommendation to treat my pneumonia with ivermectin. But at least now there won’t be any black mermaids in the next Disney movie.

Fuck YouTube. I would rather my videos stay removed than edit them to cut out the word gambling. For years, my work was about how loot boxes were gambling, and I used the word because companies didn’t want the word used.

I’d sooner lose every video than destroy the point of them.

Fuck. YouTube.

when a poor person uses food stamps for a steak or homeless person spends $5 on a beer, it’s seen as proof that all poor people are so bad with money that they shouldn’t be given any, ever, for any reason. $77 billion out the window, and zuck’s legacy as a safe government contract bet is secure.
Mark Zuckerberg’s gamble on the "Metaverse" has lost his company more than $77 billion.

Yes, Rob Reiner was great as Meathead on All In the Family, and yes he was an amazing film director with an unparalleled 7-run-film debut. But his company, Castle Rock Entertainment, also produced SEINFELD. His influence on American comedy can’t be overstated. www.slashfilm.com/1722562/rob-...
How Rob Reiner Saved Seinfeld From Being Canceled On NBC - SlashFilm
NBC might have canceled Seinfeld shockingly early in its run had sitcom veteran and A-list filmmaker Rob Reiner not stepped in.

Everyone who didn't say Charlie Kirk was a saint should be doxxed and fired from their jobs. Here's why it's fine that Donald Trump is celebrating Rob Reiner's death.

Really dark stuff. Surely all the people who expressed horror at those who lacked empathy for Charlie Kirk’s murder will show come consistency and condemn this also, right?

Saying they were killed “due to” their feelings about Trump is demented.

If you look at how, where and when the NYT deliberately obscures facts that are known to the author but would undercut the thrust of an “objective” story (in this case trying to make a college dropout appear to be a graduate) you’ll notice that’s always in service of the conservative agenda
This NYT story failed the reader by not digging deeper. One subject dropped out of college after one year (five years ago) and lists "Windows" as his skillset. Story should be: young conservatives who blame immigrants for their personal failures and whose lives won't be improved w/ fewer immigrants

TPUSA is currently in the middle of a sexual harassment scandal, just helped generate hundreds of death threats against some teachers, and Pete Hegseth said he committed a war crime at the request of Kolvet but every week all these mainstream outlets are just like “How you holding up, buddy? 😢”
Apologies for yet another thread with a hate read of a Douthat joint, but we need to talk about the role the credulous "center-right" is playing in normalizing fascistic illiberalism in the US. Kolvet is a rabid Islamophobe and anti-trans hatemonger, but you'd never know that from this interview.

The games industry brings in 300 billion dollars a year. The guy who made DOOM gets his projects canceled, the guy who made Katamari Damacy is broke, everyone in your feed is begging for a job and there are 50 new games coming out on Steam every day all going towards buying Gabe Newell's next yacht
Keita Takahashi (Katamari, Wattam, Noby Noby Boy) has moved back to Japan, and says he may be forced to quit the games industry due to To a T underperforming.

He also says he'd love to work on Katamari again, and for someone to invest in his studio.
